Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis resolves.
This Blended MHFA course is essential training for all pharmacists and front line pharmacy staff and teaches staff how to assist a customer who is developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.
This course is delivered by an accredited Mental Health First Aid instructor and consists of:
eLearning pre-work module (approx. 6-8 hrs)
Half-day ‘face to face’ workshop (4 hrs, lunch included)
Note: Participants must complete the eLearning prior to the half-day workshop.
CX150035 This activity has been accredited for 12 hours of Group 2 CPD (or 24 CPD credits) suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan upon successful completion of relevant assessment activities.
